About Waste2Watts
A circular social enterprise turning waste into value since 2020
Turning Waste into Opportunity
Waste2Watts is a social enterprise registered in Lilongwe, Malawi in 2020 (registration number MBRS1091377). We specialize in a circular business model — turning waste into reusable products and maximizing the value of renewable energy sources, creating employment and generating wealth.
Our perception of waste is different. We look at waste as everything that is not used optimally but has the potential to transform lives. We look at waste as opportunities.
We see wasted solar energy, wind energy, organic waste, electronic waste, food waste, and waste water — and Waste2Watts exists to turn all of this into value, starting with energy for productive purposes.
