Renewable Energy — Off-Grid Solar
Access to electricity is a fundamental enabler of development. Waste2Watts delivers affordable off-grid solar home systems to rural households that are far from the national grid — bringing light, power, and opportunity to families who need it most.
We have already reached over 2,600 rural households with solar home systems, working through a network of 23 field agents across Dowa Rural District — 13 of whom are women, reflecting our strong gender-inclusion commitment.

Waste Management & Biogas
Organic waste is one of the most underutilised resources in Malawi. Waste2Watts collects organic waste and converts it into biogas energy through modular, scalable biogas systems — serving both rural and urban households and businesses.
Our biogas solutions reduce household dependence on firewood and charcoal, cutting down deforestation and indoor air pollution while turning a disposal problem into a clean energy asset.
